Nina saying I love you was about Nina confirming and comforting the current momoka which momoka believed she was a different person and couldn't go back as she ran away from her past self. Nina in this scene is a representation of past momoka to current momoka. Past Momoka as Nina expresses and reassures present Momoka that she is still the same person that she always was, that past Momoka still loves present momoka. Momoka said to Nina that she saw her as her old self and was trying to 'protect' her leading to a slap/reality check that Nina is her own person still). So basically it's a triple meaning scene. Present Nina loving Momoka, past Nina loving Momoka (who was a big fan of past Momoka), and Momokas past self (as Nina) loving present momoka. Nina says "as I thought, I -still-(idr if still was included) love you" meaning Nina (thus past Momoka and present Momoka as well) was questioning if she loved present Momoka. considering how current Momoka was acting insecure believing she's no longer the person she was/wanted to be as shown in the previous episodes leading up this episode, to then being reassured by herself that she is still loved (aka the same person she was/person she wants to be despite holding herself back) Such a great episode.

I break my operators down into: Horde Ops, Leader Ops, Healer/Buff Ops, Line Holder Ops. Think I need to work on my buff ops at the moment, think I have a nice mix of healers, DPS and lineholders. I'd say Leader Ops is close to boss killers, like I view them as not the ones who will kill the boss, but the Ops I pick to dedicate toward taking out the boss, my current go to's are Viviana and Kirin R Yato and Eyjafjalla. And seen as though I use Silence as a healer, I can use her ability to mitigate the boss damage. I wouldn't say its good to claim an Op is a "Boss Killer" in all regards, each have their own strength, but its generally not the best to go 1-v-1

ngl caseoh no. 8 is pretty bland cuz its just a 12 year old in a middle aged body and that his age doesn’t make any draw backs (especially on the later half) because he relies on his powers to fight.

The back half of Jellyfish is a horrible show.

It’s actually funny to see Kaiju 08 and Girls Band Cry placed together in a vid. I actually loved Kaiju’s author’s earlier work. It was really good but got axed, and Kaiju is more typical popular battle shounen. It reminds me of GBC’s ideas of making more cliche popular songs over more unique ones. Kinda like Kaiju 08 (also kinda like MHA according to author interviews but that’s another story).

Spice and Wolf Remake is my obligatory number one of this season of anime, BUT Girls Band Cry, Jellyfish Cant Swim in the Night, and Kaiju No 8 are my numbers 2, 3, and 4 in that order. I love these shows, and I love seeing you talk about all of them, but for sure seeing you talk about Girls Band Cry is the one that means the most to me. The show is beautiful, the characters are beautiful, and the music is beautiful. The VA's are also the actual band members, and their music is fantastic. Please. Please. Please check them out outside of the show. They're a real band, and I'm a total fan. The recent episode's new song is absolutely fantastic, and after everything else we've learned and seen the rest of the season, it's made that much better. That song can be an anthem, and I'm making it one of mine.

The subtitles being off for Girls Band Cry may be because you’re watching a fan translation. Apparently the anime wasn’t picked up by any foreign distributors so there’s no official English subtitle? Though I did hear Toei released some or something.

As someone with a few years in the "being an adult" game, when I had problems with my university at the beginning of the year, I ended up questioning my entire career and life decisions in general, regaining contact with certain dreams and following that routine of "waking up, lying down in bed and going to sleep" because I think about how I'm not helping my family at all, just giving more expenses, and being afraid of dedicating myself to my dreams, because they are something difficult to achieve and require a lot of time and effort, the fear of failing and being judged for even trying has held me back from taking the first step. The answer to this problem is quite obvious but as said in the video itself, it is very difficult to simply wake up, take the initiative and give the first step. I am very grateful for the video, Yii, and for your words on the topic, it really was something that hit me more than expected. Thanks so much and sorry for the yapping.
